Pregnancy is a sacred part of a woman’s life and it's a journey into motherhood. When a woman discovers she’s pregnant it’s a time of big transitions, whether a surprise or planned, 1st or 5th pregnancy, the body is naturally taking on multiple changes - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
This prenatal yoga session specifically for women in their 1st trimester is for those who wish to understand their changing body and hormones yet start or continue their yoga practice during a time when they begin to feel extreme tiredness, nausea and are cautious of any early implications.
This session is a place of compassion and kindness, guiding newly pregnant women to gain a grounding for stability and balance that will set them up throughout their pregnancy. It will include relaxation to assist with regulating mood swings, helps with hormone balancing and reducing anxieties. Giving women the intentional physical asana practice that is suitable considering their levels of energy.
