Did you know that in the month after giving birth new mothers have the best chance of restoring their health to an optimal state? In fact, in many Asian cultures it is understood that a woman can become even healthier and stronger than before getting pregnant if she follows the right healing methods in the month after delivery.
From the moment you give birth, your body will begin its healing process. If you understand how to support your body during this time, you can heal yourself to a stronger state than even before getting pregnant. If however you do not, the consequences may follow you for the rest of your life.
The post-birth healing time is one of the most crucial health junctures in a woman’s life. With the right understanding and preparation, women will understand what happens to their bodies during this time and how to support their healing - and just as importantly they will understand what not to do to cause complications during this time.
Hosted by Anca Griffiths a mother of two, and Gigi Ngan TCM Doctor, this class will take you through what happens to the body postpartum and how you can support it to give yourself the best chances to heal and avoid complications.
We recommend that pregnant women attend before 35 weeks pregnancy so that they have the time and headspace to prepare for this amazing journey.
